Forestfield Estate Plan

Areas of Responsibility Plan

Forestfield Estate Plan

We now have (courtesy of Richard Stone) another plan of the Forestfield Estate.

A ‘snapshot’ of the plan is shown below, but the plan proper is a .pdf that has a number of layers that allow various parts of the plan to be turned off or on.

Lighting around the Estate

Street Lights

Public Footpath

Public Footpath

WSCC are responsible for lighting the roads. They are responsible for any street lights that have a number painted on them, these will all be column lights beside a main road or car park.

Faults with WSCC lights can be reported to 0800 048 2435

You will need the number painted on the column to report the fault.

CBC are responsible for lighting the public footways. Their lights are generally either

  • A standard steet light where the lamp is directly on top of the column
  • A bulkhead fitting beside a footpath with a yellow light source

The CBC owned lights do NOT have a number on them.

Faults with CBC lights can be reported to Amenity Services on 0800 5875 888.

Garage Blocks

Public Footpath

Garage Blocks

Forestfield Management Company are responsible for lighting the garage blocks.

Forestfield lights are all bulkhead lights, and are at each end of the inside of the garage blocks, and also two or three lights on the footpaths at the front.

The rule here is:-
If it isn’t a white light, and it isn’t attached to a garage block then it isn’t a Forestfield light.
